Brody King

  • Unique Body Style
  • Excellent Striking
  • Great Aerial Moves for His Size

  • Unoriginal Character
  • Needs to Improve Submissions
  • Modest Power

Name: Brody King
Aliases: None
Age: 31
Height: 6′-5″
Weight: 285
Birthplace: Van Nuys, CA

Aerial: In spite of his size, Brody King is actually very proficient in the lucha libre style. It’s always entertaining to see a big man walk the ropes, do monkey-flips or perform flying arm drags and King can do all those things. He’s still somewhat limited by his weight, but operates extremely well in the air.

Appearance: Long dark hair, beards and tattoos are nothing new in the wrestling world. Although, Brody stands out because of his body type. He’s not overly muscular but still has considerable bulk. Yet, I’d don’t think he comes off as intimidating as he should.

Charisma: Brody King feels very genuine to me. I’m guessing much of his character is taken from his real life. He’s straight-edge, somewhat goth and likes death metal. Unfortunately, those are a bunch of things we’ve seen before so it’s not very original. I’d also like to seen him improve more on the microphone.

Power: King has good power, but not as great as you’d expect from someone his size. Perhaps he just needs to showcase it more. He leans more toward exhibiting his aerial tactics instead.

Technical: He’s good in transitions and mixes in a good variety of offense. His grappling and submissions could use improving, but his striking is noteworthy.

Overview: A man with his size, agility and look would have been groundbreaking 5 to 10 years ago, but today the standards are much higher. He’s not quite big enough or agile enough to be considered an elite talent, yet. And I say yet because, despite being a little older, he is still very young into his career. I worry the gothic/tattooed look is becoming so increasingly popular, he may need to change it up to set himself apart. Overall, he has a very large amount of talent for a very large man.

Projection: Lower Mid-Card

WWE Comparison: Luke Harper

  4. I was curious if you ever considered changing the structure of your website? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or 2 pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?
