Name: Clayton Gainz
Aliases: Clayton Jackson
Birthplace: Lima, OH
Aerial: Clayton Gainz moves like a cruiserweight, despite tipping the scales at nearly 230 pounds. He has impressive agility considering his bulkiness. Although he does a good job showcasing his aerial skills, he still has some room for improvement.
Appearance: Gainz is very much a “body guy”. He calls himself “too swoll to control” and rightfully so, as his physique is excellent. Nothing out of the ordinary here, just a big dude, who looks like he’d be tough to beat.
Charisma: Clayton is bit lacking in this category. His facial expressions are over-the-top and there’s not much to his character except being in great shape. Unfortunately, there are many wrestlers who are also in great shape.
Power: I have to say this category is slightly disappointing. Despite being extremely muscular, Gainz only utilizes a few power moves. Perhaps at this young stage in his career, he’s yet to develop more attacks. Regardless, he has the potential to be much better here.
Technical: Another weak category for Clayton and again it may be due to his limited experience. However, Gainz uses little mat wrestling and I’ve yet to see him attempt a submission. Yet, he does exhibit some solid striking.
Overview: Clayton Gainz has obviously modeled himself after Brian Cage, which is an excellent choice. However, he is far from being a ‘machine’ at this point in his career. Yet, the future is promising. He has great potential. His balance and agility are so good, I wonder if he wouldn’t be better off dropping a few pounds and competing in a lighter weight class. A few more years of seasoning should do him wonders.
