Name: Flip Gordon
Aliases: Travis Gordon
Birthplace: South Weymouth, MA
Aerial: As you’d expect with a name like ‘Flip’, Gordon has incredible aerial abilities. His acrobatics in the ring are quite mesmerizing. Obviously, this is what he has chosen to hang his hat on and he has chosen wisely.
Appearance: Gordon has got pretty good look going for him. It’s not overly unique and he’s of a smaller stature. Albeit, he seems content on competing as a junior-heavyweight, or cruiser-weight, and he has good muscle definition.
Charisma: Flip has a natural appeal about him. He can draw the crowd in and really get them behind him. Also, he’s not afraid to go off-script and ad-lib at times which really adds to his charm.
Power: This is not his strong point, no pun intended. Flip will probably never be a power-wrestler. However, that doesn’t mean he can’t improve his strength. Adding a little more muscle might benefit him greatly.
Technical: Another area that doesn’t fit into Flip’s overall game plan. He’s great in the air and henceforth he doesn’t want to spend a lot of time on the mat. Which is understandable, but he’s not terrible when he does. Again, he could improve and he could add some submission moves, but it’s not critical to his success.
Overview: It might sound insulting to call him a “poor man’s” Finn Balor/Will Ospreay/AJ Styles, but when you consider the company it’s actually quite impressive. Flip really fits into that junior-heavyweight mold, which has made stars out of so many wrestlers. He has incredible agility and balance and I think he will start to add more muscle to his frame. That combination, along with his natural charisma, is the reason he is a future star.
Projection: Upper Mid Card
